With Robert F*ckwit Kennedy Jnr behind petitioning the FDA to revoke approval for the Polio vaccine he is on course to Make Polio Great Again.
Thought the Iron Lung was a throwback back to the 1950s? Thanks to RFK Jr and his coterie of anti-science baboons the heyday of Iron Lungs and leg calipers are set to make a comeback. The paralysis that many Polio victims suffered often made breathing impossible requiring people to be put in Iron Lungs to help them to breathe. Many suffered leg paralysis requiring them to wear leg calipers to help them to stand and walk.
The shares in modern day ‘Iron Lung’ manufacturers, Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, are soaring on the back of the news that RFK Jr’s lawyer, Aaron Siri, is petitioning the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to withdraw approval for vaccines for Polio and various other diseases.
The pretext is that RFK Jr and Siri think that there hasn’t been sufficient safety studies that use small words in simple sentences that they can understand. Vaccines that he has requested having the approval revoked for include ones targeting: Polio, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Covid-19, Measles, Mumps and Rubella.
In the case of the Polio vaccine there have been over 300 studies and it has been administered billions of times. Over three doses it provides a 99% protection against Polio, which makes it one of the most effective vaccines. It has played a pivotal role in the global campaign to eradicate Polio.
One of their concerns is that they have learnt from a conspiracy theorists who made a meme ‘revealing’ that many vaccines contain aluminium. This was not difficult to ‘expose’ as it is in the list of ingredients. Not really a revelation.
What’s the fuss about aluminium?
A component of many vaccines is a substance that acts as an adjuvant. This stimulates the immune system to elicit a stronger response to the critical part of the vaccine. Aluminium salts have been known to be effective adjuvants and added to vaccines since 1926. Because the people developing the vaccines are scientists who understand a lot about biology, they are fully aware that aluminium does have its own risks. They really don’t need some goblins screeching about it as if it was some great revelation they had overlooked.
Aluminium is generally considered safe and is regularly ingested in food and water, it can be toxic based on the concentration, chemical form, and the environment. The amount of aluminium present in most vaccines is very small. There is less than a milligram of actual aluminium. In the UK, the highest dose of aluminium that babies receive in one go from vaccines is just under 1.5 milligrams (from the 6-in-1, PCV and MenB vaccines at 8 weeks and 16 weeks).
Studies have been done to determine whether there was any measurable impact of vaccines on aluminium levels in babies. From samples of blood and hair were taken from 85 babies and measured for levels of aluminium. The levels varied considerably, but researchers did not find any correlation between aluminium levels in blood or hair and the estimated amount of aluminium that the babies had received from vaccines.
