Rishi Sunak condemned the language used by a Reform UK Party Ltd fan in a blunt interview. The man, unlike Frank Hester, had not given millions to the Tory Party so his racism was intolerable.
An undercover Channel 4 investigator recorded a Reform UK Party Ltd activist making a series of racist comments. While out canvassing Andrew Parker shared his views which included Islam being “the most disgusting cult out”, and he suggested that army recruits should carry out “target practice” by shooting at small boats bringing ‘illegal migrants’ to the UK. He also referred to Sunak as a ‘f*cking p**i’.
Sunak lambasted the comments by the Reform UK Party Ltd supporter and reiterated that the language and tone were unacceptable.
Sunak has been unable to explain how Frank Hester, who has donated about £10 million to the Tory party, is able to make racist comments that are palatable. Hester did make an apology five years after the comments emerged.
When Parker was revealed to be an occasional actor Farage immediately announced that it was a put up job and that Parker working for Channel Four. Both Parker and Channel Four have denied this.
