When Mel wanted to buy some new clothes she was drawn to a dress on the Zara site. She was not happy that what she needed up with looks pretty much exactly as it did in the photos. She of course had to make a video and post it to ThikTok. Lesson learnt?
Zara is one of the go-to brands for ladies fashion. Of course any smart lady would know that clothes can look quite different on people who are not models. In the case of the dress she purchased the picture the model wearing it gave a very good idea of what it would look like.

Mel took to her ThikTok account to share a video of the above image and then her wearing the dress looking exactly the same. in it she complains that she looks like a medieval peasant.
Apparently she was mortified and nearly died of embarrassment. Of course if she had not videoed herself wearing it and putting it on ThikTok then nobody would have known. Embarrassment sorted. Of course if she had paid for it on a credit card she could have just sent it back under the distance selling law.
If you are really desperate to see a ThikTok video of a woman engaging in performative vacuousness you can see it here.
