Elon Musk. Boring looking white bloke with dark hair

DOGE: a shambles and a joke

Musk has been struggling to convince anyone that his DOGE has any useful purpose or, more importantly, produce evidence. His experts have allowed the website to be hacked. Needs more than him just flapping his arms about.

Apart from an Xcretion with an embarrassing meme there has been no evidence of any significant misuse of Federal funds. This might be related to his band of ‘experts’ having no knowledge or expertise in financial auditing. These performing monkeys have been let loose on many critical systems that control financial and payments for the US government.

Really expert?

It is evident that Musk’s performing monkeys have very limited skills. The website that they created for DOGE has been hacked. Purportedly this was done by two anonymous web developers to illustrate what a shambles this is. The site was hacked on Thursday and has still not been fixed 24 hours later.

Home page for DOGE with the added text 'THESE EXPERTS LEFT THEIR DATABASE OPEN - roro'

This was probably done using an SQL injection exploit which is a very basic hack. Any competent developer would anticipate this type of attack and have processes to sanitise any text submitted to the site. This falls into the category of a rookie error.

Meaningless metrics

Looking into the site further there is a page of meaningless metrics. One page has a bold title of Unconstitutionality Index which does a count of the number of words used in rules versus the number of words in the relevant primary legislation for each department.

DOGE web page with totals page of number of words in rules compared with total words in legislation.
DOGE page with pointless list of number of words in rules and guidance compared with the number of words in relevant legislation for various departments.

What is not clear is what is this meant to represent other than the ability of Musk to waste time coming up with a pointless metric.

Broken promise

The page on the DOGE site that is dedicated to posting receipts (for what?) promises.to post them on Valentine’s Day – which is today.

Struggling to find anything? Perhaps should have involved auditors rather than performing monkeys.
