People have got used to Truss having zero self-awareness. Is she now the comedy act that the Tory Party bring out to distract the public and make every other leadership candidate look competent?
Despite not being able to even get elected to her former constituency, Truss still seems to think she has some sort of political role. She popped up at the Conservative conference in Birmingham like a vacuous pastiche of a Cabbage Patch doll. Or perhaps a lettuce patch doll.
She amused everyone by claiming that where Sunak failed to win the election, she would have succeeded. Her failure to win her own seat seems to have not registered with the poor deluded woman.
While she gives a lot of amusement, perhaps it is time that whatever friends she might have to quietly inform her that actually, she’s not very good.
