First arrest in Springfield for illegal killing of animals

Remember all the furore over Haitians illegally killing animals in Springfield Ohio? There has now been an arrest for killing animals, but the man is not a Haitian.

In Springfield, location of the fake story about Haitians killing and eating pets, a 64 year old resident, Brian Comer, has been charged with a misdemeanor offence relating to killing geese.

Come is a groundsman at a golf course where he was seen by a golfer shooting a Canada goose. Another was floating dead in the pond. The second goose wasn’t dead so Comer broke it’s neck.

Further enquiries by officers revealed that the golf course manager allowed several individuals, including Comer, to hunt on the property and claimed that he had all the appropriate licenses and permits. Checks with the Wildlife licensing and harvest database revealed that Comer did not have the required permit to hunt migratory birds. Comer believed that the golf course had a nuisance permit. It did not.

The incident at Rocky Lakes Golf Course happened on the 10th September, the same day as the presidential debate between Trump and Kamala Harris, during which Trump repeated the claim that Haitian immigrants in Springfield were eating pets. There has been no evidence of this.

So far Trump has failed to comment on this act of illegality and death of wild animals. None of the media outlets that were obsessed with the nonsense about ‘Haitians eating pets’ have reported this story. They all seem to prefer made up stuff.
