Protestors are still waiting for their payments for the No Kings Day protests. Uncertainty regarding overtime and hourly rates believed to be cause of delay.
Tens of thousands of Minneapolis citizens are upset about the lack of progress on their Protest Payment Plans (PPP). They had been reliably informed that George Soros would be paying them for turning out on the streets to protest on No Kings Day. Additional payments are being anticipated for the current anti-ICE protests.
There are reports that some protest participants have contacted Soros to find out how they apply for their payments. The hourly rate is believed to be linked to the minimum wage. There is uncertainty about how overtime payments are decided. Do all night protests get paid at time and a half or only any time beyond eight hours. Protesters are also curious about any other benefits such as dental or medical plans, health club membership or travel costs.
Protesters are advised to keep all relevant receipts in anticipation of any claim settlements.
