Nigel Farage. Gammon faced boomer pretending to be a farmer by wearing a light brown flat cap and a Barbour jacket.

Farage farmer’s rally shock

Farage was excluded from the list of politicians invited to speak at the Farmers rally at Downing Street. People were shocked that he is in the UK.

Farmers gathered at Downing Street to protest against the planned inheritance tax changes that will affect farmers. They listened to various speakers including Kemi Badenoch, Ed Davey and Jeremy Clarkson (who only bought land as an inheritance tax dodging ruse).

People were shocked that Farage was in the UK. He seemed to be firmly attached to Trump’s backend.

Many farmers did not want him anywhere near their cause because he would just hijack it for his own self-publicity. Some were still annoyed about Brexit which resulted in trade deals with countries such as Australia and New Zealand that undercut farmers, and cuts to subsidies.

One of the organisers, Olly Harrison commented, “We have invited representatives of all political parties to speak and we don’t want our event used for political point-scoring. We want it focused on the farmers and the troubles we are facing at the moment.”

Attendee Jeremy Squirrell, said he would have “frogmarched” Farage “off the site”, adding: “They taint our just cause with conspiracy, lies, hateful comments and deceit.”

Farage did slouch around the crowd pretending to look like a farmer and whining a bit.

Farage slacking off being an MP

Given that one of the most important roles of an MP is to represent their constituents by voting on bills in parliament, Farage has been letting Clacton down. He has only bothered to voted 14 times over eight visits to parliament. With many other MPs having voted over eighty times the lack of interest by Farage in serving his constituents is apparent.
