Today, 19th November, is International Men’s Day. Most men were completely oblivious and are annoyed. Arthur Braynsel (56) likes to look for posts about International Women’s Day and respond with comments like “What about International Men’s Day eh? Eh?”. He doesn’t actually care, but likes to be offended. He and many others are now annoyed that there is a day for men and they don’t have an excuse to be angry.
A user on Mastodon has sent a heartfelt message to these men.
I’d like to wish the men who only seem to remember international men’s day on international women’s day, a very happy international men’s day that you definitely forgot about.
Arthur is still angry. “Well what about special events for men like the women get eh? Why do they get special events and we don’t? It’s leftie favouritism that’s what it is.”
The occasion has been marked by various events across the country including Scottish Men’s Sheds Open Days, Mental Health Training Day in Brighton, Guernsey Mindfulness Walk and Male Survivors of Sexual Violence and Abuse Training.
