Man undecided about chucking 3D glasses collection

A man in Telford accidentally created a collection of 3D glasses from various cinema outings years ago. He is uncertain whether 3D movies will come back. Is it time to let go?

Steve Eador (1.81m) was a keen cinema goer and particularly enjoyed 3D movies. In his opinion the absolute best ones were Avatar, Doctor Strange and Jurassic Park. Every time he went he would keep the 3D glasses to use the next time to save money. Invariably he would forget or was unable to find them and ended up buying another pair.

He keeps a look out for 3D movies but sadly there have not been any decent ones since Monster Pets in 2021. He keeps seeing comments about how expensive they are to make and how most films go straight to streaming. With little incentive to make 3D movies he is sad that there are unlikely to be any more.

He is reluctant to part with his dusty collection of 3D glasses. He has looked on eBay to see if anyone is collecting, but they are only going for a few pounds. He has started watching Antiques Roadshow to see if they have become collectable now, but sadly not.

His girlfriend is pestering him to throw them away but for him they are mementos of carefree days. He is thinking of using them to make a lamp or something.
