DIY cleaning hack fan’s flat now smells like a chip shop

She has tried all the hacks from the cleaning experts on ThickTok and now she has another problem.

People have been making their own cleaning products for centuries. We have a lot of information about what the Victorians used as they put them on the internet. The people before them were too lazy to put their recipes and methods onto web pages.

Many people now turn to ThickTok because they have the attention span of a damp sponge and feel apprehensive about searching for information using this new fangled thing called a search site. Like many others Sue De-Mona (Taurus) turned to ThickTok because she particularly liked being patronised by hyperactive cretins explaining things like how to use shopping trollies with an air of total amazement.

Nearly all the hacks involved spraying with vinegar, with a few adding bicarbonate of soda for a bit of variety. De-Mona is now concerned that spraying her flat with vinegar has made her flat smell of vinegar like a chip shop. Her friends have advised her to stay away from Victorian recipes, especially the ones using stale urine to clean clothes.
