Recent events at the BBC have caused a storm of accusations and some media mishaps with unfortunate use of images of BBC personalities used to illustrate news articles. Rylan has issued a terse denial.
Speculation has been swirling around the BBC for the last week. Accusations arose about 2 months ago with no tangible action or statements from management. There has been frenzied recriminations and questions asked such as “how can this still be happening at the BBC”, “This should be a safe work space”, “Is nothing sacred?”.
Due to some mixed messaging Rylan Clarke’s name appeared to be linked to the story.
From his current location working in Italy he was compelled to issue the following statement..
I am not the person you are looking for. I am not a perfect person but I have never stolen Hobnob biscuits from the Radio 2 break room. I don’t even like Hobnobs. The crumbs get caught in my beard and it looks messy. I am on a low carb diet so don’t eat any biscuits or cakes.
The hunt continues for who has been stealing the biscuits from the Radio 2 break room.
