Since the invention of alcohol and urinating standing up, men have managed to splash urine over their legs. Even the invention of the wall mounted urinal with less distance for the urine to fall failed to put an end to piss sodden trousers. At the 75th Annual Meeting of the Division of Fluid Dynamics in 2022, a group from Canada may have an answer.
The ability to aim their dicks so the pee goes down the drain eludes many blokes, especially when drunk. Because of the sheer inability of many blokes to take a piss with any incompetence, the golden stream hits the hard surface at above a critical angle and creates splashback resulting in wet trousers. This of course can give the appearance that they have pissed themselves. The more savvy operates will make it look like they had been washing their hands too vigouously at the sink and water had splashed on their crotch. This of course never convinces anyone, and they probably think that you were pissing in the sink anyway.
A bunch of Canadian physicists and engineers who are too smart to fall for this trick (they always sit on the toilet to piss anyway), have come up with some radical designs that ensure that the pee never hits a hard surface at above the critical angle so virtually eliminates splash back. LINK
Hooray for the Canadians coming to the rescue of pissed up and incompetent blokes who don’t know how to take a piss without messing it up. Of the various designs they came up with the second from the right is the most effective.
Next week a group of Australian engineers will reveal a breakthrough in how blokes can stop their trousers from hanging halfway down their arses because they are too thick to buy the right size or use a belt.
