Musk has taken to personally delivering Tesla cars. Not sure if that will be appreciated for everybody. Trump tries to make boycotting Tesla illegal. Buying Tesla cars to become mandatory?
Desperate to get some positive publicity for Tesla cars Musk apparently ‘sold’ a Tesla car to Trump and delivered it himself. With the sales of Tesla cars falling steeply, Musk is getting desperate to try and drum up more sales. Even the used prices are falling steeply resulting in many owners having to keep their current cars because they just can not sell them.
In a stellar misreading of the reason for the declining sales Musk seemed to think that a high profile reminder that he is a major share owner in Tesla would do the trick. In case he is not aware, the reason for the declining sales is precisely because people do not want a car associated with someone who thinks that doing a Nazi salute is somehow cool or edgy.
To help with sales they are offering coatings to make removal of spray paint and swastikas easier. They are also getting in on the trend of using different car makers badges on the cars. They can provide them with badges for Audi, Hyundai. Honda , Toyota or BMW.
