He has never been very smart and Farage going on about immigrants has convinced him to vote Reform Ltd even though he can not recall any other policies.
Arthur Braynsell struggles to understand anything more complicated than a chip sandwich. This is why he likes the Reform UK Party Ltd. They only have one policy that he is aware of; stop illegal immigrants. They have never said what they will actually do. Most people looking at a party that essentially only has one policy would expect that one policy to be fully explained with an implementation plan.
Arthur is not aware that Reform UK Party Ltd does not reveal who funds it, however there are clues. A fund raising evening at Oswald’s private members club was attended by 100 guests paying £25,000 each. These included racehorse trainer Andrew Reid, businessman Myles Barclay, Charles James Spencer-Churchill (12th Duke of Marlborough), Lady Victoria Hervey, Bassim Haidar (Nigerian-born Lebanese entrepreneur), Arron Banks (former CEO of several companies, currently owns a couple of insurance companies registered off shore to avoid tax), Mohamed Amersi (business man).
Other supporters of Reform UK Party Ltd include Richard Smith (business man and seller of weapons to the Russians), Fitriani Hay (race horse owner), Crispin Odey (hedge fund manager), Roger Nagioff (former Lehman Brothers banker and Monaco-based investor) and Peter Hall (Australian financier).
It is unlikely that these folk would be thinking of the likes of Arthur as they quaffed champagne and tucked into what one guest said was “the best roast beef I’ve had in my life”. It is also highly unlikely that they care about immigration into the UK. They are more likely to be interested in how Farage will do them favours should Reform UK Party Ltd get elected. They love the idea that Farage will follow the Trump example of doing away with regulations that come between them and even greater profits.
Farage will quite happily keep banging on about the boats as the simple minded are easily fooled and can latch on to that simple mantra.
