With only 7 delegates supporting her from the Iowa caucus Haley has a lot of work to do. If she could convince her mum to switch from Trump to her that would be a start.
in the first Republican caucus Hayley came in third position (7 delegates) after Trump (20) and DeSantis (8), although she did do better than Vivek Ramaswamy who only got 3.
Her mother has said that she is a Trump supporter (from her 2019 book With All Due Respect). Hopefully if she can convince her mum to support her then she is a little bit closer.
