The self-publicist and bogeyman inventor obviously has time on his hands now that he is pretty much irrelevant.
Now he is inventing the idea of hordes of armed immigrants.
The independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration, David Neal, wrote a report that was submitted the report to the Home Secretary on 24 February 2022 which is still unpublished.
In a commentary on that report David Neal mentioned that “Officers removed and placed weapons in a sharps bucket in the search area. Officers said that migrants sometimes had pocket knives, but not often, and that guns had been encountered, though rarely.”.
In the imagination of Nigel Farage this got translated to “many of those who come have with them guns, knives, or other weapons”.
