The Secretary of State for Levelling Up has ditched the whole Levelling Up scheme as he knows it won’t achieve anything between now and the election. He has announced that there is to be a mass Trick or Treat to try and redress the imbalance.
As the Tories contemplate electoral defeat they are just doing anything in the vain attempt that they might do something that they might be remembered for or might lead on to some lucrative post political career.
Michael Gove’s scheme will see whole towns and cities from the North bussed down to towns and cities in the Home Counties to go knocking on doors begging for treats. People of the Home Counties will be encouraged to donate any second best clothes, appliance and food for the Northerners. He is hoping this will go some way to redressing the affluence disparity and make many happy memories.
