Liz Truss to give Taiwan the benefit of her wisdom

Despite being the poster girl for crass incompetence, the former Prime Minister still feels she has a lot to offer. She is off to Taiwan to share her knowledge and experience. Hardly seems worth a flight for 5 minutes of talking.

When Liz Truss failed to outlast a lettuce in her premiership and slipped away from Downing Street it was hoped she would take the hint and just sit quietly on the back benches until she could step down with dignity at the next election. Unfortunately she is in denial that she messed up monumentally (Liz Truss – it wasn’t my fault). She was, and still appears to be, much loved by the hard capitalism fanatics. Like a Duracelltm bunny on cocaine she just keeps ploughing on.

There doesn’t seem to be any obvious reason why Taiwan has invited the incompetence tzar to talk to them. The best possibility is they want to study and understand the vapid drivel she has adopted to be absolutely certain never to reproduce the car crash she unleashed on the UK.

While no-one knows who is funding this trip, she has had previous trips funded by the Heritage Foundation. While this sounds like a quaint gathering of elderly folk pontificating on the merits of stained glass windows and thatched roofs, they are anything but. Their core beliefs include: climate change denial, false claims of voter fraud, pushing for anti-critical race theory legislation, opposition to transgender rights, against funding military aid to Ukraine and they are against abortion. They have a lot of money to spend pursuing these goals

They were still cheerleading Liz even after she had crashed the UK economy…

You can’t expect economic growth and prosperity when companies are more focused on meeting meaningless diversity quotas and complying with radical climate change standards, rather than engaging in competition and generating money for their employees and the country.
