Coldplay hacker offered a reward

A young woman from Luton pleaded guilty to hacking into a server and stealing pre-release music by the band Coldplay. She has been offered a reward if she can pull off another hack…

Skylar Dalziel (22) hacked into a cloud storage owned by Sony Music Entertainment in June 2021. She copied files of unreleased music by several artists including Coldplay. Dalziel made £42,000 selling the music on the dark web.

She has been offered a reward if she can hack into all the music streaming and storage systems around the world and delete all of the Coldplay music. A spokesperson for music lovers commented, “If she can rid the world of this abomination then we will pay her lots. We’ve already crowdfunded £250,000”. This is a lot more than she got for selling it.
