Jesus; what’s the big deal? I was gone three days

How do you get a break when you are in constant demand as the Son of God? He had tried going off into the wilderness but was pestered by demons. Three days chilling in a cave with no-one thinking to look for him was the perfect break.

No-one is more perplexed about Easter than Jesus. Even he can’t work out when it is going to be each year! It is often March 31 or April 16, but has been March 22nd, April 24, and March 23. Something to do with the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring equinox. “How did that happen? Pilate didn’t mention anything about that when he was setting the crucifixion date”.

As the Son of God he knew he wasn’t really dying. He could of come out of the cave at any time but it was so cool in there. And quiet! If he has one regret it’s that he didn’t think to arrange to have a lamp and crossword on hand. “If I’d suggested it to anyone to put those in the cave it would have given away the big reveal” he later recounted.
