After Billie Eilish gave a statement that made it obvious that she was for the girls she lost 100,000 followers on Instagram. Apparently they didn’t know even though she thought it was obvious.
Following her Women of Power feature for Variety where Eilish shared that she is physically attracted to women, she later commented “I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t it obvious?’ I didn’t realise people didn’t know,”.
After these widely reported comments 100,000 of her followers on Instagram hit the unfollow button. Seems that they didn’t know much about her.

In 2017 Barry Manilow officially ‘came out’. Think everyone knew he was gay for the previous thirty years.
Ricky Martin confirmed in 2018 what pretty much everyone knew for ages.
