Bellend declares mysoginistic comments are okay because it was a joke

In response to the news that Laurence Fox has been censured by OfCom for a highly personal attack against a female journalist on air, bellends took to Social Media to say it was just a joke and she should lighten up.

A total bellend has commented that “It is the kind of thing that everyone says and Ofcom need be in reality. What he said was a joke and his freedom of speech.”. Other bellends chimed in with “Legend!”, “Love Laurence Fox. Speaks his mind and upsets the leftie bedwetters. (That includes Ofcom)” and “How can you get the sack for telling the truth”.

Apparently it was a bit of light hearted banter and that she (Ava Evans) needs to lighten up.

During the Dan Wooton show on 26th September the failed actor and failed activist Laurence Fox made a highly personal remark of a sexual nature aimed at the political journalist Ava Evans. The former GB News presenter Dan Wooton just sat grinning while Fox was having his misogynistic outbursts, so was deemed to be complicit.

During the conversation relating to comments made by Evans relating to male mental health Fox decided to focus on whether he, or anyone, would want to have sex with Evans.

“They reduced her contribution to a broadcast discussion on mental health – in her professional capacity as a political journalist – to a judgment on whether she, or women like her who publicly expressed their political opinions, were sexually desirable to men.”

There were 8,867 complaints to the regulator who agreed with the complainants. Neither apologised while on air, but both subsequently apologised once they realised they were in trouble.
