Arm tattooed with various characters from the Sandman graphic novels.

Woman wondering what to do with her Sandman tattoo

She originally had a Harry Potter tattoo but got it transformed into a Sandman one after Rowling went unhinged. She thought she was safe with Sandman until accusations about Neil Gaiman emerged. She is looking for suggestions.

Cat Astrofee (Capricorn) has been unlucky with one of her tattoos. She used to be a big Harry Potter fan and had the Gryffindor emblem tattooed on the top of her arm. While Astrofee was not one of the groups of people that Rowling was foaming at the mouth about, she can not abide intolerance and hate. Astrofee realised she had to do something about the tattoo.

She visited her local tattoo artist, Ink Black Tart, who came up with some ideas. As Astrofee had enjoyed reading the Sandman graphic novels, and Neil Gaiman seemed like a pleasant inoffensive man. After several hours the Gryffindor tattoo had been transformed into a montage of characters from Sandman.

Happy days.

She was horrified when allegations of sexual abuse by Gaiman started to emerge in July 2024 a podcast by Tortoise Media reported that Gaiman had been accused of sexual assault and released a podcast series which covered allegations made by five women.

When further allegations of more assaults appeared in the New York Magazine she knew it was time to lose the Sandman tattoo. Astrofee is now uncertain how it can be transformed.
