People doubt Green Party credibility because of a lack of billionaires

Some are doubting how serious the Green Party are as they have no billionaire backers unlike others such as Reform UK Party Ltd.

While the Green Party are pleased with the current growth in membership numbers there are some who are suspicious of them as a party. The Green Party are conspicuous by their lack of billionaire donors wanting favours if they get into power. The best that the Green Party could do in this regard were donations from some multi-millionaires such as the late Vivienne Westwood and the Lush Mark Constantine.

Cynical people are concerned that the Green Party would not have input from the mega rich. This lack of awareness of the needs of billionaires would leave the party only catering for the needs of ordinary people. This unfamiliar arrangement has left some feeling uncertain about the Green Party.

The Green Party has had great success in recruiting new members. So far they have over 115,000 members. While this is some way behind Labour’s 309,000, they have exceeded the Lib Dem’s 60,000 members and are catching up with the Conservative’s 123,000 members. Reform UK Party Ltd may have 250,000 members however there is uncertainty over the accuracy of figures coming from this company.

If the lack of billionaires does not concern you the Green Party are ready to welcome you.
