Sue Donnim (68) proudly wears a thick quilted jacket, gloves and a woolly hat whenever she goes outdoors. When at home she will wrap up in a blanket and put on her favourite ginger coloured woolly hat.
Donnim has spotted the yellow heat alert on the weather forecast. This warns of temperatures climbing up to 33 centigrade in some parts of the country. For Donnim who still thinks of temperature in Fahrenheit this does not sound very warm. She is considering not wearing her woolly hat.
