One too many satisfaction surveys tips woman over the edge

Every time we buy anything we get a message asking us to rate how satisfied we were. Even just walking past a restaurant will result in a ‘how do you rate your visit’ message. One woman has had enough.

Mona Lott (32) didn’t used to mind filling out the odd eBay seller feedback on a purchase. Occasional responses on TripAdvisor were fine especially when a restaurant or attraction had made a particularly good impression. She started to get irritated when every time she phoned a bank, electricity company or insurer there would be texts asking for feedback.

She normally keeps the Location service switched off as she doesn’t want to be tracked. A few week’s ago she was visiting Glasgow with friends and needed to find her way around the unfamiliar city. She switched on Location and started exploring Glasgow.

After two hours she was quivering with rage and screaming at her phone. “Within ten minutes of walking past any bar or restaurant I’d get a bloody message asking me how I rated my visit. I haven’t visited the poxy places! How the hell do I tell it to fuck off and die?”.

Since then she flies into a rage with the relentless bombard of messages asking for her opinion. “If they are that insecure and needy then they shouldn’t be in business”.
