At the Royal Highland Show Princess Anne inspects some fine free-range farmers and struggles to decide which to buy.
Princess Anne spent a pleasant day at the Royal Highland Show near Edinburgh. She was there to enjoy Scotland’s largest agricultural event, to observe livestock competitions and meet with guests and farmers across the country.
She was particularly taken with a couple of recumbent free-range farmers in the sales stalls. As she was on the lookout for staff for her farm on the Gatcombe Park estate she spent a bit of time inspecting them. As they appeared to be related she did not have the heart to separate them she decided to buy both. They will be relocated to Gatcombe Park after the end of the show.
