Derek has been keeping old chargers from equipment for decades. He has not had to use any of them, so far. He was excited to see a post on a local Freecycle group from someone who needed a charger suitable for an HP Pavilion G6 laptop.
Excitedly he showed the post to his wife with an air of justification. Derek emptied the drawer of old chargers to look for one that was suitable for the job. By the time he had found the right one some bastard had already offered one.
His wife consoled him by suggesting he offer all his old chargers on Freecycle.
