With the heat dome covering two-thirds of the USA and record breaking temperatures Mexico has offered to switch their ‘windmills’ on facing north to blow it away.
Large areas of the USA are baking with about 160 million people in more than 25 states who are receiving either an Extreme Heat Warning or Heat Advisory. From Florida to New England, and west through the Midwest and Mississippi Valley, even stretching to parts of northeastern Texas being affected. The numbers of bellends posting on social media that “It’s called summer!” while simultaneously failing to grasp the severity has reached record levels. Similarly, the number of boomers jumping in with “Call that hot? We used to cook our breakfasts on the bonnets of cars (never happened)” has reached epic proportions. The boomers can be excused as it has been many decades since they had to look at data in a maths class. They also struggle with the concept that things can change.
Being conscious of how triggering ‘windmills’ can be for MAGA brains and how little they understand about anything never mind wind turbines, Mexico has made the US an offer to help them.
The president of the Mexican Energy Generation Association (MEGA), Senor Lalo Cura, offered to point all the ‘windmills’ in northern Mexico towards the US and switch them on in a tweet to Ron DeSantis.

So far DeSantis has not responded. There was lots of discussion among the MAGA brains trust trying to calculate how fast the windmills would need to turn up get sufficient breeze, and why doesn’t the US use its own windmills to fix the problem.
