Blokes who lIke to express their love for England by beating up police officers, setting fire to libraries and intimidating asylum seekers are angry at being called angry.
Former England football captain Gary Neville has outraged gammons by highlighting that angry white middle-aged men are causing divisions in society. Neville, who is England’s most-capped right-back, has no shortage of love for his country but has taken exception to people putting up an England flag on his property. Nobody has put flags up in years except when important football international tournaments are on.
Barry Sidal (48) does not have much of a personality and defines himself by watching football, drinking beer, liking bacon butties and getting strangely excited by the sight of an England or Union flag – although he does get confused over which is which. He is proudly white even though he had absolutely no control over that. It was an accident of birth. Sidal is a strong believer that his whiteness is something to be protected and is angry that Neville has identified angry white middle-aged men as a problem. It wasn’t his fault that there was a hotel containing asylum seekers on the street where he was helping to put up England, or was it Union flags.
The current rage of flag shaggery is driven by Britain First (founded by racist criminals Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and Andrew Currien) who devised and promoted the ‘Operation Raise the Colours’ campaign.
