Dr Who spin-off series banned in Minnesota

The latest Dr Who spin-off series has been banned from being shown in Minnesota as it breaches state mortality laws.

The critically acclaimed series from the Dr Who universe features a gripping premise, great cinematic visuals, and compelling performances from Russell Tovey and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The finale of The War Between the Land and the Sea was aired on BBC last night making a great ending to the series. The Russell Tovey and very fishy Gugu Mbatha-Raw characters swim off into the sunset.

The US programme distribution partner for the BBC, BBC America, has been contacted by lawyers for Minnesota to inform them that the series must not be shown in Minnesota for reasons of morality.

Minnesota has a strict law banning sex between men and live fish. Seriously. They do have this law. Nobody seems to know why.
