Starmer – absolutely no IDea

Least popular PM attempts to woo electorate with least popular policy.

Despite an overwhelming majority in Parliament, Starmer’s government are set on bouncing themselves into coming up with policies that attempt to appeal to the Reform mob. Starmer foolishly thinks that talking tough on immigration will convince Reform UK Party Ltd supporters that Labour can also offer similar solutions. Labour is convinced that pissing off all the people who voted for them and replacing them with Reform UK Party Ltd voters will win them the next election.

The last attempt to introduce identification cards in 2006 withered away in the face of hostility of a surveillance state. Few are convinced that employers in the black economy will start checking for ID of any type.

The calls to reject the planned introduction have received a massive number of signatures. The petition on the UK parliament site has over 2.5 million signatures. With 11,000 signatures an hour being added it could be on course to being one of the petitions with the most signatures. The record is over 6 million for the petition to Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU petition. We all know how that worked out.
