Robert Kennedy and his advisors are excited about the progress with measles in Texas. As predicted, most supporters said they had it and survived.
With only one death in the Texas measles outbreak, Kennedy has established that measles is not very dangerous. He is happy that it shows that measles vaccines are a waste of money. So far there have been no indications of any lifelong effects, however even if there are that won’t be important. As there will be no MedicAid it will not cost the government anything.
In entirely predictable responses on social media, older MAGA fans have have been posting about how they had it as a kid and did not die. Spoilsports who try to explain that all the kids who did die can’t post about it, being dead and all that, are accused of being jab happy and watching too much TV.
Rich people will still be okay as they can get their children the vaccine. If they choose not to have a vaccine then they can afford any health care their children might need.
He is optimistic about cutting back on tuberculosis vaccination as nobody he knows has suffered from tuberculosis. Plus it’s usually poor people living in shitty conditions who get it, and they are unlikely to vote, or at least vote Republican. A win win scenario. Save money, less poor people and fewer people voting Democrat.
He’s not sure about polio. He thinks it’s something to do with people riding about on horses hitting a ball with a stick. Sounds like something that rich people do. He is going to hunt for some memes about polio to bring himself up to speed about it.
