As with previous years the predictions for 2025 from the power duo meet expectations. Total b*ll*cks.
It’s that time of year when tabloid columnists and unoriginal hacks turn to old seers of the future to fill space in their columns.
Baba Vanga
In time honoured fashion Baba Vanga’s predictions are pretty vague. Interestingly a prediction appeared for 2024 saying “Significant progress in the development of quantum computers that will revolutionise the field of technology”. It seems incredibly unlikely that woman who died in 1996 at the age of 85 would have known anything about quantum computers. Could there be somebody associated with her legacy making some predictions up to perhaps fill gaps in her listed ‘predictions’?
This is supposed to be a list of her predictions
- 2023 – The trajectory of our planet will adjust marginally.
- 2025 –Europe remains sparsely inhabited.
- 2028 – Humans create a fresh and innovative power source (Most likely Controlled Nuclear Fusion). World hunger is eradicated. Humans step foot on Venus for the very first time.
- 2033 – Sea levels rise due to climate change.
- 2043 – The international economy is booming. Europe becomes Islamic.
- 2046 –.Synthetic organs become readily available en masse. Transplants have become commonplace.
- 2066 – While besieging Rome (which is at this point Islamic) the US discovers a new type of weapon classed as an “environmental destructor”, it can immediately freeze anything in its path.
Nostradamus
The predictions of Nostradamus rely mostly on imaginative interpretation of very vague comments. Mostly these are figured out retrospectively and people slap their foreheads and pronounce “that prediction must have been about something or other’. His predictions aren’t given for specific years or decades.
Some believe that predictions relating to the 2020s include the “lands of Europe” will be involved in “cruel wars”. Well that’s hardly a shocker. There are always wars and conflicts in Europe. So vague bollocks again.
