When Boris Johnson supports you then your opinion is void

Boris Johnson has declared that JK Rowling is a “modern saint” for her Xcretions about trans women. Having an open homophobe and islamphobe supporting her is not quite the endorcement he thinks it is.

He falls back on the old ‘what people secretly think’ evidence base.

Wellbeing company director supports racial abuse MP

Tory MP Bob Stewart (Beckenham) was convicted of a racially aggravated public order offence. The list of his supporters on a crowd funding page shows people who are happy to support racist attacks. This includes a director of a wellbeing company built around inclusivity.

Rishi Sunak: irony award 2023

The announcement by the PM of his intention to introduce laws requiring minimum service levels in key public sectors in relation to strikes has prompted the Irony Society to award him their 2023 Medal of Irony in Politics. They do not anticipate anyone else beating him throughout the year in that category. He wants minimum service levels from staff but doesn’t see the need for minimum performance levels from governments.
