Project Cassiopeia is not an orbital weapon

The exciting potential to capture solar energy in space and beam it to earth could be a reality by 2035. Project Cassiopeia, led by Gustav Graves, aims to take advantage of the greater solar energy levels in space to capture more energy per solar panel than would be possible on earth.

When asked about the similarity to the main plot of the James Bond film ‘Die Another Day’, Gustav Graves gave a knowing look and said ‘it would be some kind of maniac who would create such a weapon in open view, don’t you think Mr Bond?’. This correspondent did correct him on the name but think it was lost on Mr Graves who was having a hearty laugh.

The share price of one of the backers of Project Cassiopeia, Blofeld Industries, has surged following this announcement.

The UK government has also announced it is launching it’s own initiative. It is urging all UK crisp eaters to save their crisp packets and send them to the Department for Innovation. The shiny inners make perfect lightweight reflectors.

Walkers crisps were contacted for a comment and just said ‘your call is important to us…’
