A man has taken to Reddtwit to complain that his sister-in-law did not consult him or anyone else before deciding to have a baby. He claims she hadn’t thought through how it would affect others.
A man was upset when his sister-in-law announced that she was pregnant. “My bro was round and we was stuck into God of War Ragnarök when she bursts in, stands in front of the screen and asks him if he’s told me yet”. Then he tells me they’re having a baby. “Bro. You’re gonna be an uncle”.
He was not happy because he wasn’t ready to be an uncle. “I told she was selfish for not checking with the family first. How come she get’s to decide I’m going to be an uncle?”. She said that our mum and dad are fine with being grandparents, but I reckon they are just saying that to please her.
Complaining that his workmates will tease him, she said that he could just not tell them. “That’s easy for her to say. They’ll know”.
They are not on speaking terms at the moment.
