With the release of the latest literary, numeracy and illiteracy figures Florida is well on the way to being the dumbest place not just in the USA but on the planet.
With the inclusion of Moms for Illiteracy in contributing to what goes on in schools and helping to motivate teachers, Florda is now about 9th from the bottom of dumb states. With literary levels of 76% and numeracy at 65% Florida is dumb, but not the dumbest. They have still yet to beat Alabama, Nevada, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas to be the dumbest in the USA.
The good news is that Florida is now a player on the global stagee. There now numerous third world countries with better literacy and numeracy levels compared to Florida. These include Ghana, Congo, Kenya, Comoros, Cambodia, Guatamala, Iraq and many more.
With a bit more effort the politicians can devote a lot more time convincing their clueless sycophants that imaginary culture wars are more important than basic stuff like meaningful education. Next year Florida can look forward to being less educated than Rwanda, Angola, Yemen and Djibouti.
