Clarkson’s ban on Labour MPs entering his pub has backfired as many have also asked to be banned. Polanski is angry that no Green Party MPs have been banned.
Clarkson has announced that no Labour MPs would be allowed in the pub that he runs, the Inheritance Tax Dodgers Arms. He has made the gesture in solidarity with other landowners whose tactic of buying agricultural land as a way to pass on assets and avoiding inheritance tax. Measures announced by the Labour party have closed this dodge to the likes of Clarkson and other tax shy wealthy landowners.
When Clarkson announced the ban on Labour MPs large numbers of people asked to be banned as well. Zack Polanski was angry that Green Party MPs had not also been banned. Polanski promised to tax the wealthy more severely if Clarkson bans Green MPs as well.
No Labour MPs have been in Clarkson’s pub and none have any intention of going anywhere near it.
