Suella Braverman in search of a new location to transport undesirables to

The decision by the High Court today clarified that Rwanda is not a safe country for the UK to transport migrants to. Suella Braverman looking for new options. Tories to apologize for lambasting Home Office personnel who refused to co-operate with the scheme?

Today the High Court ruled that the Home Office scheme to transport migrants to Rwanda would be unlawful.

“The result is that the High Court’s decision that Rwanda was a safe third country is reversed – and that unless and until the deficiencies in its asylum processes are corrected removal of asylum-seekers to Rwanda will be unlawful.

Lord Burnett, the Lord Chief Justice

This was essentially down to the problems with the asylum system in Rwanda which could result in a “real risk” that asylum seekers could face being returned to their home country that they were fleeing from, and again be at risk of persecution or other inhumane treatment there.

Where next?

Suellla Braverman is now looking for other options to hide the migrants. She has been spotted looking into various derelict coal mines, and enquiring what happens to oil rigs at the end of their life. She had put a call through to Australia but they put the phone down the moment she stopped disguising her voice and they realised who it was.

She tried calling Volodymyr Zelenskyy with an offer of some ‘recruits’, however he wasn’t accepting calls from the UK after the debacle of them sending tractors instead of tanks. She is reportedly trying to track down Yevgeny Prigozhin to see if he wanted to recruit another army.

Apologies due…

Home Office staff received a lot of criticism from Tories when they threatened to strike if forced to implement the transporting people to Rwanda scheme because of its likely illegality. They of course can expect full apologies from Jacob Rees-Mogg and Priti Pratel as they are of course fully vindicated.
