The PM was a tad tetchy when asked about comments made by ex-footballer Gary Neville relating to poverty and poor working conditions in the NHS. The sycophants from the Direly Male newspaper sucked Rishi’s toes while he whined that people shouldn’t talk about politics.
“We can’t have people being paid an absolute pittance to work”
When the ex Manchester United and England defender commented in Qatar, Rishi was unable to provide a response to any of the points made. He did however manage a lame “I don’t think that’s right at all.”
“We should detest low pay, we should detest poor accommodation and poor working conditions. That is something we can never, ever accept that in this region or in any region – and it is just worth mentioning we’ve got a current government in our country who are demonising rail workers, ambulance workers and – terrifyingly – nurses.”
In another damp dollop of rhetoric Rishi suggested that Gary Neville should stick to football rather than politics. So Tories don’t like people to talk about politics unless they are politicians. Handy to know.
In other news Tory politician, Rishi Sunak demonstrates his hypocrisy by babbling inanely about football while flagging up his pseudo supporter status
Prissy Rishi has previously shown his ineptitude at drawing on football references during his leadership race in August. Having previously tried to establish his ‘cred’ by claiming to be a massive Southampton United fan, he was asked how he would improve the team’s performance. His insight was “I’m going to be unpopular for saying it here, starting by beating [Manchester] United this weekend.”. Unfortunately this massive fan wasn’t aware of his favourite team’s fixtures. Their next game was against Leicester City, which any fan would have known.
