The flight did not turn out how she wanted and she feels compensation is due. They won’t listen to her even though she has her best compo face on.
Su Ingemall (36) had booked her flight to Bucharest three months in advance and was meticulous in selecting a window seat in front of the wing for the best unimpeded view. She had a bad experience of flying before and was leaving nothing to chance.
Everything went fine at the check-in and security. An hour later she was in her seat with a perfect view. Shortly afterwards a tall young gentleman took the aisle seat leaving an empty seat between them. He immediately put on some headphones and obviously had no interest in talking. Perfect!
It was shortly after take off that she started to feel that things weren’t going as expected. After a few minutes the plane passed into clouds. A short while after that the plane emerged above the clouds.
Not getting the view she was entitled Su Ingemall called a member of the cabin crew over. She said she explained that she’d paid extra for a cabin seat so she would get a good view but the hostess wouldn’t do anything about it. “She just looked at me like I was bonkers which was so rude. She said they can’t do anything about clouds. Well I know that, I’m not stupid”. She told the hostess that she should ask the pilot to fly round them, but the hostess refused.
Her flight was ruined and she wants compensation.
“I’m a paying customer and I didn’t get what I paid for. My holiday was ruined”.
A spokesman from FlyanRair commented that there is no guarantee of a view in the terms and conditions.
