New Reform councillors immediately honour their promise to ban boats. Pedal boats will soon be removed from Harrow Lodge Park lake.
In a shock result the incumbent Tory councillors of Haringey Borough Council lost their seats to another bunch of former Tories who had moved over to Reform UK Ltd. On changing to Reform one former Tory commented that, “being in Reform is so much easier. We only have to remember one policy, ban the boats. The hardest part to remember is don’t say anything about nig-nogs. Easy”.
Shortly after the results were announced the new Reform leader of the council and former Tory Keith Prince,, reaffirmed his commitment to Reform UK’s only policy – getting rid of boats. It has been unreliably reported that a message was immediately sent to the Parks Department to get rid of the pedal boats on the lake in Harrow Lodge Park.
