Kids warned about accepting invites from Mike Waltz or any security advisor

Following a recent incident where an unsuspecting man allowed himself to be drawn in to a chat with incompetent morons who had no clue what they were doing, children are being warned against being duped.

Journalist Jeffrey Goldberg has been extremely busy dealing with the fallout from one simple click on an invite link for the past week. It has completely changed his life.

Kids are being warned not to accept any invites especially from anyone calling themselves Mike Waltz or a Security Advisor. While there are no warnings of physical harm or inappropriate behaviour, there is the risk of young people getting caught up with incompetent cretins. This not only places young people at risk of exposure to highly classified information, more importantly it places them at risk of reputational damage that might affect their future life chances. Children should not be exposed to stupid people at an impressionable age.

Unsuspecting journalist Jeffrey Goldberg thought the day would be like any other when his phone pinged a notification. His Signal account had been invited to join a Signal chat group. The group was called “Boneheads with Nukes” which he assumed was an elaborate satire or hoax group. Like any other journalist constantly on the lookout for plausible content to include in articles, he accepted the invite.

It was obvious to him that the invite could not actually be from Mike Waltz, US National Security Advisor, because nobody would be stupid enough to add a journalist to a group chat with the top players in the Trump administration.

Kind people have supposed that Trump appointees only seemed to be clueless halfwits in public as an act to make them appear less intimidating. Some have thought that when they were gathered together in private the mask would slip and they would reveal themselves to be cunning and intelligent. The farce over the journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg, being included in their Signal chat group revealed that they truly are stupid.

To simply say that “lessons have been learnt” is utterly moronic. US government departments have developed communication protocols over many decades. These people will have been advised about safe communication and obviously decided that they were smarter than the personnel trying to advise them.

Being head of Defence or National Security is not the sort of role where you learn on the job. For that reason every previous administration has appointed people who have had experience in those sorts of areas. Picking a bloke who was in the army once and presents a TV programme that occasionally has military matters is not a qualification compared to his predecessor.
