The news that BBC chairman Richard Sharp arranged a £800,000 loan for Boris Johnson prior to getting the chairmanship role leaves a lot of questions.
Why did Boris need the loan in the first place? With people such as Simon Clarke available to advise him. All he had to do was budget better and he wouldn’t need more money. Many nurses are available to give him budgeting advice.
Of course he could save a lot of money by cancelling his Netflix subscription and stop eating avocados, after all that is why young folk can’t afford to buy houses – nothing to do with the ratio of income to property value.
Rachel MacLean (safeguarding minister) would advise him to ‘work more hours or get a better-paid job”.
George Eustice (Environment secretary) has possibly nailed it with, putting the name-brand products down.
While Jackie Doyle-Price’s advice that we should all make use of our granny annexes and rent them out isn’t applicable to most people, surely Boris has an annexe on one of his houses.
The other option is to write yet another book on Winston Churchill.
