Suggestions for Big Brother style voting on people who should go for assisted dying have mostly been ruled out, but they are not saying never.
Next week MPs will discuss and vote on the assisted dying bill (Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill).
Some have suggested that people could be nominated for assisted dying and people could vote. While this suggestion hasn’t been formally adopted the option hasn’t been ruled out.
