Public school pupils to get advantage they deserve

Excruciata Reees-Mog is overjoyed by the announcement from the new vice chancellor of Oxford University Prof Irene Tracey.

It is obvious to that know but needs explaining repeatedly, when you pay money for education for your children they get a superior educational experience. Many measure educational attainment merely in terms grades achieved, and miss the point of public school education. A public school education builds the values and strengths that future leaders of this country need. Privilege and entitlement are not just accidents of birth, they are learnt and crafted.

With this in mind it is with gladness that the news the new leader of Oxford University, Prof Irene Tracey, has announced that she is against targets for the inclusion of State school educated students. This ridiculous policy has seriously restricted the number of public school pupils getting places at Oxford.

Finally the tide is turning against woke culture

It is wonderful that finally there is someone in charge of a prestigious University who recognises the true value of public school education. It is a little surprising that she she came from a State school, something called a Comprehensive. It seems that some people can transcend their lowly education.

Now we just need to get a few more recognitions of the position of the privileged. Finally the tide is turning against woke culture.
