Studies have shown that climate deniers also tend to be homophobic and transphobic. They get angry about anything that is different from the days of their grandparents. They haven’t figured out how their prejudice is being used against them.
The easiest way to get any gammons or far-right people angry is to stick a rainbow on it. They have even been known to get angry at whales if their spray catches the sunlight to create a rainbow. These people would also drive extra miles in the hope that it might offend someone concerned about climate change. What can anyone do to reach people who live in a state of anger and are determined not to do anything that might benefit the environment or mitigate their impact on climate change?
There have been various ‘outrages’ on social media as various car manufacturers have unveiled rainbow themed cars. A recent post featuring a Ford pickup with a rainbow colour scheme provoked a large number of angry comments. Many unaware of that this was not an available colour option.
“No more Fords in this house!”, “So much for me buying a Ford. Screw Ford”, “Sorry Ford. Gone to far”.
Similar pictures by other car manufacturers have provoked similar angry reactions.
With the gammons angry at most large car manufacturers they are less likely to be happy about buying large cars. Now if they were angry about the fuel that they put in their cars then that would make them angry about refuelling…
