The Prime Minister and his wife thank the British public for all their effort this year.
Speaking from the drawing room of his Kensington Mews mansion with the crackling coming from the large log fire, Rishi was adamant in his gratitude to the British public.
“I am deeply grateful that so many have committed to helping the energy supply problems we are facing by not heating their homes. Well done”.
As his lovely wife Akshata brought in a tray of hot toddies we were joined by Nova (their fox red Labrador Retriever).
“What many people forget is that for people switching off their heating off that is also helping with the cost of living crisis”.
Akshata interjected with”what I don’t understand is food banks. Is this where people put food in when they have plenty and then withdraw it when they are short?”.
Rishi, always a source of wisdom, explained “just like a money bank, when you put money in you don’t necessarily get back the same notes and coins. With a food bank, you get back whatever they have at the time.”.
“But we might have to look into how they charge interest and whether they are taxable”.
Moving onto their Christmas plans Rishi was excited to announce that they would be playing a treasure hunt game covering all their houses. With a sprawling manor house in North Yorkshire, the Kensington Mews, a flat in London and a penthouse property in Santa Monica they have plenty of range for the game.

Being serious for a moment, Rishi suggested that they might spend a lot of the Christmas break in Santa Monica, “Not only will we use less energy in somewhere as warm as SantMon, which is good for the environment, but importantly we won’t be using any energy in Britain”.
Thank you Rishi. You are a true visionary.
